In the latest development of Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia case, the actress on Monday visited the Mumbai police headquarter to meet the Commissioner of police Rakesh Maria. According to reports she has provided names of some more witnesses.
The actress had filed a complaint against Wadia on June 13 at the Marine Drive police station. Her complaint stated that the businessman abused and threatened her inside the Wankhede stadium during the match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings on May 30.
Preity recorded her supplementary statement last week at the stadium. The police also recorded statements of the witnesses Preity gave in connection with the case.
Her neighbour, Danish Merchant, also recorded his statement last week and said that Preity showed him the bruise on her elbow a day after the incident and also asked him if this is how one treats a girl.
Merchant is one among the four key witnesses of the incident that happened on May 30.
