Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta experienced highs of their Bollywood career during the same time. As a result, they were often pitted as arch rivals. They were also said to be in not-very-good-terms once upon a time. However, many years later, the actresses have achieved a lot in their respective lives. They are both in a happy space and very much appreciative of each other. This became evident when Preity tweeted praises of Rani after watching her much appreciated movie 'Mardaani'.
Preity wrote, "So proud of my power house Rani for making a powerful & relevant movie. The slot for the BEST MOVIE & BEST ACTRESS is now taken. Nothing else can give you a better high than a great movie ! After being Rani's friend and co-star I have now become her Fan. More power to YRF."
