Preity Zinta did a shocker last Thursday when she filed police complaint against her ex-boyfriend and co-owner of 'Kings XI Punjab', Ness Wadia. The complaint was lodged at Marine Drive police station in Mumbai claiming that Ness abused and threatened her inside Wankhede stadium in south Mumbai on May 30.
Since then, the Marine Drive police are investigating the matter looking for evidences and collecting witnesses. However, Preity has been bombarded with many an allegation. While some are calling it a 'publicity stunt' others claim that 'privileged women should not file trivial cases'.
However, sources very close to the actress have denied these allegations.They confirm that the actress is not the one to wish for unwarranted attention. According to them, the actress has made many smart investments and is not after 'money'. In fact, they say that the actress bid for the IPL team with her own money and even made the initial investment on behalf of Ness. Though Ness did pay her back within the next 2-3 months, he did so minus interest or premium. Preity had also worked free for a 'Go-Air' commercial campaign as a goodwill gesture.
