Actor Preity Zinta is miffed with a news daily so much that she is shocked to react. The news daily has apparently quoted the actor saying she has reported to BCCI officials about her team – Kings XI Punjab’s malicious activities.
After reading the report, Preity is “Shocked by this inaccurate and extremely irresponsible and malicious piece.”
As per the news report, Preity had apparently met the officials in early August and told them she had seen such activities from close quarters and had wanted to speak earlier about this but possessed no proof. But what Preity had said was, “Suggested RANDOM POLYGRAPH ( LIE DETECTOR) Tests to BCCI for players so no can even think about match fixing. The theory was that Prevention is better than cure.”
And the news report had “twisted and changed the story,” as per Preity and she also added, “A constructive conversation to genuinely make a difference to the game is turned into a destructive article for sensational purpose.”
